FATP Production Manager

Job description

• Manage overall FATP production operations to achieve output, quality, delivery, and operational-efficiency targets.
• Develop production plans, allocate resources, and coordinate manpower according to production demand.
• Manage a workforce of 500 to 1,000 employees; organize work assignments, guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Establish, monitor, analyze, and drive the achievement of departmental KPIs.
• Manage NPI pilot-production programs, coordinate issue resolution, and ensure the transition to mass production.
• Monitor and improve productivity, yield, product quality, and resource utilization across FATP lines.
• Control production costs, material loss, labor, and other resources within the assigned scope.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, NPI, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve arising issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and higher production operating efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, discipline, quality, and management requirements in production areas.
• Consolidate, analyze, and periodically report production performance and KPI results to management.
• Organize shift-management structures, balance manpower, and ensure complete information handovers between production shifts.
• Direct the resolution of abnormalities involving manpower, machines, materials, methods, and the production environment.
• Develop, review, and supervise compliance with SOPs, operating standards, and management rules in FATP areas.
• Coordinate preparations and responses for internal audits, customer audits, and post-audit improvement activities.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and production capacity and proactively identify risks affecting delivery plans.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects or customer complaints.
• Build a management succession pipeline and develop the capabilities of supervisors, line leaders, and core personnel.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Chinese and English.
• Three to five years of management experience at the FATP level.
• Experience managing a workforce of 500 to 1,000 employees.
• Experience managing NPI pilot-production programs.
• Ability to independently manage departmental KPIs.
• Strong production planning, operational organization, resource coordination, and large-team management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to control production quality, cost, and schedule.
• Experience managing mass production in an electronics manufacturing enterprise.
• Ability to read and analyze production data and prepare management reports.
• Experience developing, implementing, and supervising SOPs and operating standards.
• Ability to handle abnormalities, manage risks, and work under pressure related to output, quality, and delivery.
