Quality Management Department Manager

Job description

• Take overall responsibility for Quality Department operations at the Hải Phòng factory.
• Build the organizational structure, assign responsibilities, train employees, and evaluate the performance of the quality team.
• Manage quality across the entire chain, from suppliers and incoming materials through production processes to products delivered to customers.
• Coordinate and manage process, supplier, and customer quality functions, including PQE, SQE, and CQE.
• Establish, implement, and monitor inspection standards, quality standards, control processes, and abnormality-handling mechanisms.
• Lead the resolution of major quality issues, batch defects, and customer complaints; organize root cause analysis, formulate corrective actions, and track improvement effectiveness.
• Manage quality during new product development and trial production; coordinate risk identification and finalize standards before mass production.
• Monitor and analyze quality indicators, including defect rate, pass rate, yield, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
• Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects and losses and improve production process stability.
• Manage supplier quality activities and coordinate supplier evaluation, improvement, and resolution of incoming material and component issues.
• Work with customers on quality standards, abnormality responses, improvement reports, and related requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and related functions to resolve quality issues.
• Organize and coordinate internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and quality-system compliance activities.
• Provide regular reports to management on quality performance, risks, resolution progress, and improvement results.

Requirements

• Under 38 years old.
• Previous experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Department Manager.
• Extensive experience in process, supplier, and customer quality management, particularly PQE, SQE, and CQE.
• Ability to manage comprehensive quality operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience building teams, assigning work, training employees, and evaluating performance.
• Ability to handle quality abnormalities, customer complaints, and supplier-related issues.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and capability to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and work with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to use Chinese, Vietnamese, and English at work.
• No strict degree or academic performance requirement; practical experience and management capability are prioritized.
• Experience in batteries, BMS, PACK, energy storage, electronics, or related manufacturing fields is preferred.

Benefits

• Working hours are from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday through Friday; overtime is paid according to company policy.
