Failure Analysis Engineer – Electrical/Electronics (FA EE)

Job description

• Conduct failure analysis related to production yield and product functional issues.
• Identify the causes of electronic failures, functional defects, and product abnormalities.
• Propose corrective actions and improvements for functional issues.
• Prepare failure analysis reports using 5C, 8D, or related formats for serious FA issues.
• Track and update daily analysis progress and complete customer-required verification items.
• Monitor implementation and verify the effectiveness of improvements.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to address and resolve problems.

Requirements

• College degree or above.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in failure analysis (FA) or electronic design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good teamwork mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to use Chinese and English at work.
• English communication ability is preferred.
• Experience in an ODM laptop manufacturing plant serving customers or brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Huawei, and Foxconn is preferred.
