Material Project Management (MPM)

Job description

• Manage risk-material procurement for new projects, identify and assess potential supply chain risks, and ensure material supply meets mass-production requirements.
• Develop material stocking plans and risk-response plans to ensure projects ship on time.
• Interface with customers and provide timely CTB (Clear to Build) information while ensuring data accuracy.
• Follow up on bottleneck material issues and coordinate internal and supplier resources to drive rapid resolution.
• Track and handle customer material changes, including design changes and new material introduction, ensuring efficient execution of the change process.
• Coordinate with R&D, procurement and production teams to ensure material changes do not affect production plans.
• Compile material EOL (End of Life) data, report it in a timely manner and develop alternative solutions.
• Provide information and reports required by customers, ensuring data is accurate, complete and timely.
• Analyze issues in material management processes and propose optimization measures to improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Electronic Engineering or related fields are preferred. Education requirements may be relaxed for exceptionally strong candidates.
• Fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
• Experience in the electronics industry in PMC (Production Material Control), supply chain project management, or procurement.
• Familiar with material lifecycle management.
• Familiar with ERP system operations and material management tools.
• Able to process material data and reports quickly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively coordinate internal and external resources to drive problem resolution.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
