Production Safety Specialist

Job description

• Develop and update occupational safety, hygiene and fire-safety procedures in line with applicable rules and production needs; implement systems such as ISO 45001 and prepare documents, records and reports.
• Assess risks in workshops, warehouses and laboratories; identify fire, chemical, electrical, mechanical and equipment hazards and follow up controls.
• Monitor safe machinery installation, operation and maintenance.
• Organize induction and periodic safety, hygiene and fire training; communicate through meetings, posters and leaflets and provide task-specific guidance.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly inspections; record violations and unsafe conditions and follow up corrections.
• Investigate incidents and occupational accidents, report findings and develop and drill evacuation, rescue and fire-response plans.
• Manage PPE issue, use, storage and maintenance; ensure fire and first-aid equipment readiness and required inspections of safety-critical equipment.
• Track occupational safety and hygiene rules, report monthly/quarterly/annually and coordinate labor and fire-safety inspections.

Requirements

• College diploma or above.
• Good communication in Chinese and Vietnamese.
