Production Engineer (PE)

Job description

• Identify production, quality and efficiency risks during new-project trials and propose improvements.
• Lead process assurance and improvement in mass production to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Verify second-source and duplicate-mold materials.
• Improve efficiency and train new and multi-skilled employees.
• Meet yield/capacity and scrap targets.
• Analyze process issues during trials and mass production; maintain process routes and improve line yield and efficiency.
• Analyze potential assembly failure modes and risks, review and track countermeasures to reduce occurrence and defect escape.
• Prepare and manage process documents, deliver process improvement projects and reports, and guide line implementation and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above with good Chinese.
• Experience at a CM factory for customer U01 preferred.
• Injection molding or mold experience at companies such as Hi-P, or U01 assembly NPI experience, preferred.
• Good communication, resilience, willingness to work overtime and adaptability.
• Proficient in office software and preparing reports and documents.
