Packaging Process Engineer

Job description

• Participate in new-product packaging design and feasibility reviews and propose feasibility requirements.
• Organize packaging reviews, schedules and sample preparation at each NPI stage.
• Prepare packaging sections of manufacturing process plans, PFMEA and stage reports.
• Improve packaging first-pass yield, analyze defects, support new models and improve efficiency to sustain production.
• Decide packaging process adjustments, recommend layout changes and validate new equipment and materials.
• Trial and validate new packaging materials and develop auxiliary packaging materials.
• Manage packaging engineering changes and associated operations/maintenance after mass-production introduction.

Requirements

• College diploma or above in mechanical/electromechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience developing headphone packaging processes; requirements may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, UG, CAD and related drafting software.
• Chinese communication skills.
