Manufacturing Project Manager

Job description

• Participate in new product development design reviews; lead product manufacturability assessments and propose feasible requirements and solutions.
• Prepare project process documentation, cost parameters and reports, including process flowcharts, tooling and equipment lists, auxiliary material lists, PFMEA, work instructions, BOM and related documents.
• Develop project process flows and manage the evaluation, introduction, purchase request and management of new equipment and new materials.
• Research and develop new auxiliary materials before mass production; support introduction evaluation and cost calculation for new tooling and equipment.
• Build platforms for new technologies and processes, conduct evaluation and introduction, promote application, plan process technology development roadmaps and drive implementation to maintain industry competitiveness.
• Analyze and resolve external customer quality abnormalities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the complete process systems for injection molding, post-processing and metal stamping.
• Proficient in cost calculation, process quotation logic and industry standards.
• Able to proactively identify technical, quality, production capacity and cost risks.
• Able to summarize, transform and promptly update typical issues, Checklists and Lessons Learned into the knowledge base.
• Able to complete missing technical content within the assigned scope of responsibility.
• Chinese language capability required.
• College education.
