Material Project Management (MPM)

Job description

• Manage risk-based material procurement for new projects, assess supply-chain risks and prepare stocking and contingency plans to support mass production and delivery.
• Communicate accurate CTB (Clear to Build) information to customers and coordinate internal teams and suppliers to resolve material bottlenecks.
• Track customer material design changes and new-material cut-in with R&D, purchasing and production to protect production plans.
• Compile EOL material data, report it promptly and develop alternatives.
• Provide accurate, complete and timely customer information and reports.
• Analyze material-management process issues and propose improvements to supply-chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Requirements

• college diploma or above; supply-chain management, logistics management or electronics engineering preferred. Education may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
• Proficient English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Electronics experience in PMC, supply-chain project management or purchasing, with knowledge of material lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with ERP and material-management tools and ability to process material data and reports quickly.
• Strong communication and resource coordination, problem-solving and resilience in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
• Chinese and English communication skills.
