IT Engineer

Job description

• Maintain the company's IT network.
• Manage servers and other IT equipment; maintain, back up and upgrade systems, and deploy new applications.
• Set up company network equipment, operating systems, databases and application servers.
• Manage PC antivirus protection, operating system upgrades and security patches.
• Ensure available resources are used effectively to meet business requirements.
• Train users on hardware and software.
• Understand and follow applicable company practices, policies and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to programs and procedures to simplify operations or increase efficiency.
• Develop applications in Java or C# based on user requirements.
• Manage databases.
• Have the right and duty to understand RBA, report issues and provide suggestions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background in a computer-related discipline.
• More than 2 years of IT support experience; experience in a multinational company is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese.
• Familiar with Windows Server 2008, AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, VPN, Exchange Server, SQL, firewalls and routers.
• Familiar with information systems (IS) management and able to provide comprehensive IS solutions.
• Familiar with network security techniques and able to provide comprehensive network solutions.
• Familiar with SQL Server installation and configuration, and database backup and restoration.
• Java or C# development experience is preferred.
• Willing to work shifts.
