Customer Quality Engineer (CQE)

Job description

• Take responsibility within QA for customer-related quality matters and the quality management system.
• Administer and maintain the quality management system in accordance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and UL.
• Manage document control, including the creation, revision, approval and obsolescence of procedures, work instructions, standards and forms.
• Prepare, schedule and support internal and external audits; lead audit teams and manage corrective follow-up and closure of audit findings.
• Receive and respond to customer quality requirements and provide timely follow-up on emails, requests, anomalies and complaints.
• Lead the handling of customer quality issues, coordinate relevant functions to identify root causes and implement corrective and improvement actions through FACA.
• Maintain FACA history, deliver periodic internal training and monitor compliance with corrective actions.
• Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager and exercise the right and duty to raise feedback under RBA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least five years of quality experience, with familiarity with relevant quality standards and tools.
• Good spoken Chinese for workplace communication and fluent written English.
• Good knowledge of quality methods including 5W analysis, 8D reports, MSA and the seven QC tools, as well as statistical tools such as Pareto analysis and capability studies.
• ISO 9001 internal-auditor certification is preferred.
