Equipment Engineer (ME)

Job description

• Install and commission new or transferred production equipment to technical requirements and drawings, ensuring accuracy and timely start-up.
• Work with suppliers on equipment acceptance, test performance and technical parameters, record data and resolve identified issues.
• Plan preventive maintenance for automation equipment based on operating condition and manufacturer recommendations; perform cleaning, lubrication, inspection and component replacement.
• Maintain service and repair records; analyze equipment history to identify potential failures early.
• Diagnose and resolve failures promptly: diagnose and repair common electrical faults within 1 hour; provide a repair plan for complex mechanical faults within 4 hours and implement it promptly.
• Analyze failure causes and patterns, lead repair and improvement actions to prevent recurrence, reduce downtime and improve equipment utilization.
• Train production staff in operation, daily maintenance and basic fault identification and handling; provide equipment support and help optimize production processes.

Requirements

• College diploma or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic knowledge and skills in PM, TPM, mechanics, electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills with strong execution capability.
• Able to understand and speak Chinese.
