Quality Engineer (QE)

Job description

• Develop control plans, quality standards, inspection instructions, visual aids and quality alerts for projects and products.
• Monitor production and conduct patrol inspections of products, operations and processes; identify, address and track quality issues, escalating when coordination is needed.
• Maintain shop-floor documents and records; train operators and inspectors; promote self-inspection, cross-inspection and process control.
• Collect and monitor quality data; assess issues, authorize production stops when necessary and organize analysis and resolution.
• Identify critical operations, apply statistical techniques and organize improvements through planning, implementation, checking and improvement.
• Coordinate with CQE/SQE on production quality issues and customer feedback or complaints; implement corrective, preventive and continuous improvement actions.
• Support quality management system implementation, internal and process audits, and follow-up improvement actions.
• Follow operating procedures and quality and environmental policies; identify departmental environmental aspects and understand relevant regulations.

Requirements

• College diploma or above in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• At least 2 years of QE experience.
• Understand ISO 9001 and connector manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Experienced in shop-floor quality management and proficient in 5Why analysis and SPC.
• Good Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; proficient computer skills.
