Process Engineer (PE)

Job description

• Update process flows and PFMEA based on production operations; prepare work instructions and train and assess employees.
• Establish and update cycle times, standard output and staffing levels for production lines.
• Investigate and resolve process abnormalities to sustain production; assess product and material quality and establish control measures.
• Analyze and improve existing or potential quality, scrap and capacity issues; improve processes, fixtures and error prevention.
• Develop CIP activity procedures, lead improvement teams and track projects to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Help analyze customer complaint causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support new product and material trials.
• Maintain 5S in line-side material areas, including scrap material areas, and perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant engineering or natural science discipline.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience in the electronics or connector industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Office.
• Understand SPC, FMEA, CPK, Control Plan, Flow Chart and Minitab.
• Have knowledge of connector electrical performance, environmental testing, stamping, injection molding and electroplating; analyze, assess and resolve new production-line problems.
• Proficient Chinese reading and writing, with good listening and speaking skills.
