Factory Operations Supervisor

Job description

• Plan factory production capacity and coordinate resources to ensure on-time order delivery and achievement of annual operational and business targets.
• Coordinate and manage related functions such as production, equipment, warehouse and manufacturing processes; set work plans and performance targets and drive execution.
• Lead the handling of major production abnormalities such as process defects, line stoppages, equipment failures and issues affecting output or quality; coordinate with Quality, Process, Equipment and other functions on root-cause analysis, improvement and closure.
• Drive improvement programs related to TPM, OEE/OPE and line balancing to enhance factory operational efficiency.
• Control manufacturing cost, material inventory, losses and waste; implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Take responsibility for EHS, factory safety and on-site 5S management; proactively identify and eliminate safety risks and prevent workplace accidents.
• Build a management talent pipeline and be responsible for training, capability development and performance evaluation of key management personnel.
• Regularly consolidate and report factory operations, production status and management indicators to senior management; coordinate cross-functionally to resolve key operational issues.

Requirements

• College degree or above in Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years of overall factory or manufacturing management experience.
• Strong knowledge of production management, TPM, OEE, cost control and on-site continuous improvement.
• Able to manage and control factory operations against output, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Strong overall planning, cross-functional coordination and complex problem-solving capability.
• Able to work under mass-production pressure and take accountability for operational results.
• Experience managing factories in Vietnam or overseas is preferred.
