Production Supervisor

Job description

• Manage production planning and capacity coordination, balancing manpower, machines and materials to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Manage shop-floor production activities and ensure compliance with SOPs, operating standards, production discipline and 5S.
• Quickly handle abnormalities related to processes, quality and line stoppages; coordinate with Equipment, Quality, Process and related teams on root-cause analysis, corrective actions and closure.
• Monitor and maintain yield to ensure stable production output and quality.
• Lead improvement activities for OPE, UPH, line balancing, labor productivity and overall production efficiency.
• Control production losses, optimize resources and continuously implement manufacturing cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage the production team, including work allocation, performance management, KPI evaluation, shift/team leader development, employee skill training and workforce stability.
• Implement EHS and production safety requirements, inspect shop-floor safety risks and prevent workplace accidents.
• Regularly analyze and review production data, identify abnormalities and drive targeted improvement projects.
• Coordinate with PE/Process, Equipment, Quality, PMC, Warehouse and Engineering to ensure stable production operations.

Requirements

• College degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• At least 3 years of overall production management experience.
• Experience managing automated production lines and mass production.
• Strong capability in shop-floor management, IE improvement, capacity planning, line balancing, efficiency analysis and mass-production abnormality handling.
• Able to manage output, quality, efficiency and production losses.
• Strong resource coordination, cross-functional communication and team-management capability.
• Able to work under pressure in a mass-production environment.
• Experience managing production in Vietnam or overseas factories is preferred.
